Research and Planning - Music Magazine Pt. 30

First I added a rectangle so I could then add text to it. I then added some blending options to make it look more natural.
I added some text to fit over it using the font Modern No. 20. I then merged the text and the rectangle together. I placed this new image behind the picture of Jack to finish off.

Research and Planning - Music Magazine Pt. 29
In order to add a fourth image, I had to include an image of Jack.
The screenshots I produced of me creating this image were deleted. All I have so far are these two, where I simply resized it smaller.

Research and Planning - Additional Model/ 3rd Release From
I completely forgot about using a fourth image for my magazine; I sadly was only using two. When my teacher checked what I had done so far they reminded me of this fact. Hence, I have used an additional model, who has signed a release form too for me.
Their purpose in my magazine will be to act as an editor to my double page spread. Their face will be placed in the top-left of my page, with annotations to their job title and their work to the article.

Research and Planning - Music Magazine Pt. 28
I went over some areas on my main image on my front cover which my peers in my classroom felt needed fixing.
I just used a soft eraser and kept following the edge until it softened enough.

On the bottom of my main image, the edge of it was slightly blurry. I thought an easy way of clearing this was by moving it slightly off of the page, but I also increase the image's size too. So now none of the image doesn't cover any of the features on the left-side of the page, but only the 'E' on my masthead.

I change the position of my 'exclusive' plug with the cover story. I think this is a fantastic change, as even though I like how my main image cover the plug, I wasn't sure it was the best I could've done with it.

Very slight changes, but I changed the spacing between the bars and the rest of the features around them. Via audience feedback, people told me it didn't look right the way it was.
I also copied another black bar to put it at the bottom below my main cover story at the bottom too. This helps with filling up any empty spaces.

Research and Planning - Music Magazine Pt. 24

I removed the lines underneath my sub-sub-titles to prepare for the changes I end up making.

I change the fonts of the sub-titles so they match the font of the contents title: betas.
I then, from inspiration of my page title, add a white box behind the sub-titles to make them stand out.
I add the boxes first
I then change the colour of the font son you can see it over white box.
I do the same for the rest of the sub-titles, and even for the banner at the bottom of the page stating the magazine's website and page number.
I like these changes because it really makes the page stand out a lot more. Even the way my model's foot is covering the bar at the bottom adds more depth to the page.

Research and Planning - Music Magazine Pt. 22
In repsonse to my social networking feedback, I have tried to fill the empty space at the top by spreading my content out more and adding a black bar above my interview plug.
I also pushed my bar code a little bit further up the page so I could fit a black banner at the bottom, which I will use to add information about the magazine, i.e. artists, producers, etc.
I was inspired by a 'THE SOURCE' magazine.
