I changed the price of my magazine due to the feedback I gained from my SurveyMonkey.

Research and Planning - Social Networking Feedback
I asked a friend what he thought about the changes I had made to my magazine to see what is good and is bad/ what needs improving. Here is our conversation:

Research and Planning - Music Magazine Pt. 20
For my contents I changed the thickness of the font from light to medium. I felt it was too thin for the style already seen in the rest of my magazine; all the other fonts I have used are quite thick so I thought it didn't look right like this.

I originally used gold for the colour associated with my featured artist, but due to the main image change on my front cover I have changed it to blue, the same colour seen on his jacket.
Rather than adding another colour, I thought it was better to simply change the gold.
Using the colour blue for the text '4REAL' lets the readers of the magazine know it's referring to the artist on the front cover (main image). Without this change, some people may think the interview plug is about the featured artist.
The colours of blue, red, lack and white go well with each other too.

I followed this onto the contents page and double page spread too.

Research and Planning - Music Magazine Pt. 18
On my contents page I extended the lines beneath my subtitles so they finish at the end of the page. I thought it didn't look right the way it was originally.
I like how the line is behind the main image; it emphasizes his position in the magazine as someone important.

I have now also decided to change my main image too, as my original looked too much like the one on my double page spread. Also, it's a larger image too so it covered slightly more of the page, therefore leaving less blackness, all in partnership with the changes I made with my interview plug.
I decided to sharpen the image to make it clearer and better. I used a high pass filter which sharpened all the edges.

This how my front cover is looking now.

Research and Planning - Surve Responses 2
I placed a link on my Facebook wall to a survey page on SurveyMonkey to gain a wide variety of responses to help with my research and planning. Here are the results:

Research and Planning - Music Magazine Pt. 16
On my front page I also decided to bevel the text "4REAL' as it makes it look more like gold. Lots of black artists are associated with gold, therefore it adds more character to my actual fictional character I came up with.
Research and Planning - Music Magazine Pt. 15

I thought I need to change the font of this text as it was the exact same as my masthead and selling line. I am using Arial instead and I really like and prefer this more that Bebas.
I then added a drop shadow in order to make it stand out more.
I also enlarged my 'EXCLUSIVE' image and slanted it as it looks cool and brings a lot of attention to the interview.

Research and Planning - Music Magazine Pt. 14
I have now added my main image for my contents page of another featured artist. He is positioned where I want him too.

I added a bleding option the my image via an outer glow. This just smoothed out its edges and made the image more visible.
I really like how it turned out overall on this page. The image doesn't take up too much pace and fits in just right.

Research and Planning - Music Magazine Pt. 13
I start adding more storie to my contetnts page, using the same font as seen in my cover story on my contents page. Except for the olourbeing different - it's white.
I organise the stories in the order I want them to be on my contents page. They're in numerical order going own the page.
As I did for my cover story, I add a sub-tile to organise each story into Interviews and Featured stories. I really like how this turned out.

add little a little heading for my cover story featured on my double page spread. I used the Helvetica Neue font. It looks professional and is different to the rest of the fonts found through the rest of my work.
I add my cover story (Bebas font) underneath the title. I then add a a brief summary of what the story features too in a serif font.

Research and Planning - Music Magazine Pt. 11
I started my contents page by adding 'CONTENTS' and changing the font to Bebas.

I then change the font colour to black, meaning it will blend in with the background. But, I then add a white bar behind o make the majority of the word stand out. Small portions of the top and bottom of the word is then lost to the background which is unique as I haven't seen this done before. This makes it stand out more. It is very cool too, I think.

Research and Planning - Mid-Way Questions
These are questions I am planning on asking a few people I know in order to gain an idea on what to do with my magazine, and to also see what people are thinking of them.
- What do you think of magazine so far?
- What is your thought of my masthead?
- How much would you expect to pay for a finished product of my magaizne and why?
- Do you like you think of my colour scheme of my magazine?
- Do I have enough content so far?
Research and Planning - College Magzine Pt. 10
I add my second image of my model for my double page spread. He has an open armed pose to take up more space on the page. I really like this because it makes my featured artist seem relay big and important.

I added some blending options to make the image more clear and to smooth out the edges from where I cropped it out form its original background.
I position him to the bottom of the page but then I realied I didnt really like it that much; there was too much space above his head.
I then just resized him larger and had part of his body placed behind the text columns. I think this is really cool and unque. It stands out a lot and adds depth to the page.
